Free fitness classes for Mums struggling with their maternal mental health.
It's widely reported that 1 in 5 new mums will struggle with their mental health.... though with so many people not even seeking help that figure is thought to be even higher. Exercise has been proven to boost mood as well as reduce feelings of stress and anxiety - I myself have found that exercise has a real positive impact on my mental health and I am hoping to support others to find the same. Even just getting out of the house with your baby is a huge step sometimes, I truly believe that the benefits of coming to classes are as much mental as physical.
What is on offer?
I am offering a FREE space on each class for mums who need it the most. This is across any class.
How do I apply?
I am working with medical professionals such as local health visitors, perinatal mental health workers, GPs, Midwives and other organisations, who will refer ladies in their care to my scheme. However, maybe you haven't taken the step to accessing support just yet....in which case you can self refer. Contact me on hello@rhiannonbaileyfitness.co.uk for more information.
What then?
After the month, you can join the class in the normal way if you have found it to be something of benefit, you will have a space reserved until you decide you do not want it.
How are you funding this?
At the moment, this will just be offered for FREE, with no funding support.
